AWARD NOMINATION AS KINGFISHER SHRIMP POT GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH.

SHRIMP SEASON BEGINS WITH HUGE DEMAND FOR KINGFISHER SHRIMP POT
The shrimp fishing season has recently begun and it has lead to a huge demand for our new Kingfisher Shrimp Pot. Orders have been coming in from Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales and France while production has been flat out to meet the demand. The reports from those who have bought the pots have been extremely positive. Fishermen have told us that they match or out-fish all their current shrimp gear, one customer from Ireland told us that he is bringing in double the catch in his Kingfisher Pots. Some fishermen have made repeat orders within 2 or 3 weeks of trying the new pots. But what has delighted so many of the fishermen with Kingfisher Shrimp Pots is that come the spring when the season finishes, rather than haul all their gear ashore for 6 to 8 months they can simply remove the reducing inserts from the eyes and fish for velvets or prawn. That way they have creels that are earning money all year round.

KINGFISHER CRAB CREEL IS HERE!
After months of development and testing the large, heavy-duty version of the Kingfisher Creel is set to be unveiled at the Irish Skipper Expo in Galway at the beginning of March. This new creel, designed for fishing for crab and lobster, is made from very strong and robust panels fitted to a 10mm steel frame giving fishermen all the advantages of the tough plastic panels on the Kingfisher creels. The first model is a 26” frame with either bar or plastic base and is fitted with soft eyes and a traditional bait bag. This means that the way the creel fishes and is used is exactly the same as a traditional creel only now the mesh and binding is much more hard wearing. There has been great demand for this larger model of the Kingfisher Creel and it is now available for fishermen to try.
