Our
large Spinner is manufactured from Impact Modified Nylon. We now have the Nylon
batches made specially to order for us to ensure top quality and eliminate the
dangers of inconsistent material, which we have encountered in the past. Once
manufactured the Spinners are conditioned in our new plant to give optimum
quality and strength before being sent to our customers.
Before dispatch the Spinners are batch tested on our Hydraulic test rig and
consistently give over 3 Tonne readings before elongation.
Two further tests then follow:-
The first is the turning of one eyes through 180 degrees while the other eye is
restrained and finally the Spinner is subjected to several Sledge hammer
blows while held in a Vice. Only when all these tests are successful do we
consider the batch fit to be released for service.
The Spinner is made of the new Nylon and is easily identified by the ribs
we have added to the shank to differentiate them from the previous Nylon
compounds.
