Cod end rings
We manufacture a range of Cod End Rings made of an Impact Modified Nylon. The choice of Nylon is critical and we have the batches made especially for us to ensure we have the toughness required of these critical components. There is a 30mm, 40mm, 60mm and 90mm version. The dimensions of the rings are detailed below. We are also happy to quote for other sizes currently not available from our range.

These tests are done at ambient temperature on 5 rings of each size and averaged. The rings are pulled to destruction using our hydraulic test rig. All rings proceed to elongation and necking before failing in the tests. There was no cracking. All the rings were also subjected to high impact load with a sledge hammer in a vice. There were no failures due to impact loading.
